The Dual Sided Knife Sharpening Strop features a cowhide leather construction, with one side offering a smooth texture and the other a tufted surface. This double-sided design allows you to achieve mirror-like sharpness on your tools after stropping.

The leather used in our strop has undergone a strict vegetable tanning process, making it the ideal material for sharpening knives and tools. Included with the set are two stropping compounds - a green compound composed of Chromium Oxide and a white compound made of Aluminum Oxide. These compounds can be easily applied to the strop, helping you achieve a razor-sharp edge on your blades faster.

For convenient storage and display, the set also includes a beautiful leather rope that allows you to hang the strop up when not in use.

Using this knife stropping kit is a straightforward process:

1. First, apply the buffing compounds to the leather strop, using light pressure to coat the surface evenly, much like coloring with a crayon.

2. Place the blade on the leather stropping block, angling it between 15-30 degrees relative to the spine.

3. Continuing pushing the blade up towards the top of the strop, then flip the blade over so the cutting edge is pointed towards the top before pulling it back towards the handle.
